The Portage Volleyball club offers area volleyball players an opportunity to participate in the USA Volleyball program.

The Club's season runs from December to mid-May, ending with the regional at the Columbus Convention Center.

Please check the News/Info link for tryouts, pre-registration requirements, changes in teams' make up, practice plans, and fee structures.

Teams are registered for at least 8  tournament days, including the regional.  Tournaments are all day, either on Saturday or Sunday, and will begin as early as January.

The Portage Volleyball Club's goal is to improve the skill level of the players and to develop a winning approach to playing volleyball, all within the construct of being a part of a team.

Tournament cancellations
Even though tournaments are seldom cancelled, it has happened at times.  Please check for tournament cancellations on the tournament's page at www.ovr.org!  If the club director is notified of a cancellation, he will contact the coach who will then contact the players/parents.  It is solely at the tournament director's discretion to decide if a tournament is to be cancelled.  Parents should always use their best judgment as to whether it is unsafe to travel.  Please keep your coach informed of your situation.
